This building is the first city-scale amphitheater situated in Bandar Abbas’s south end.

Bandar Abbas is one of the major ports in the Middle East and Iran’s main port Due to the region’s distinctive climate, special and careful attention has been paid to the details and materials used in this building.

Southern Iran is well known for its very prolonged and extreme hot season. The design of this amphitheater is in complete correlation and conformance with the particular geographical and meteorological conditions of the area.

The architectural design of this two-story auditorium is for an 800-seat multipurpose structure and to be equipped with the most technologically advanced equipment for entertainment and conference purposes utilized for a variety of activities such as musical concerts, theaters, screening motion pictures, conventions and seminars, etc.

The amphitheater is to be situated in a total area of 70,000 square meters along the Persian Gulf coast.

The area adjacent to the building has been designed in order to be turned into a Museum park for cultural activities. The design calls for the park to be linked to the coastal park from the south.

Moreover, the public spaces within the building have been designed in such a manner as to prevent crowd squeeze and create a smooth crowd flow for the entry and exit of spectators.

The sloped roof of the auditorium with a view toward the sea allows spectators to climb up to the roof of the building to enjoy the beautiful vista of the Persian Gulf and the outdoor cinema.
